Overcoming Worry Through Trust in Allah
Worry often stems from fear of the unknown or a lack of control. But as believers, we are reminded to place our trust in Allah, the ultimate Disposer of affairs.
Full Verses:
Surah At-Tawbah (9:51):
“Say, ‘Never will we be struck except by what Allah has decreed for us; He is our protector.’ And upon Allah let the believers rely.”
Surah Aal-E-Imran (3:173):
“Those to whom people said, ‘Indeed, the people have gathered against you, so fear them.’ But it [merely] increased them in faith, and they said, ‘Sufficient for us is Allah, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs.’”
Reflection:
These verses emphasize that nothing in life happens without Allah’s permission. When challenges or threats arise, we are reminded to place complete reliance on Allah, trusting that He is sufficient to handle everything on our behalf.
Practical Tip:
Repeat the phrase “Hasbunallahu wa ni’mal wakeel” (Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs) when overwhelmed by worry. Recite these verses regularly in your dua.
